Rory and Paddys VW Camper Van for sale

We have now finished filming Rory and Paddys Even Greater Bristish Adventure for Channel 5 due to be broadcast early 2010. Their camper van is now no longer required and is available for sale on ebay or contact us for more details. Your chance to own a famous camper. **********SOLD***************

October 2009 - There's been a murder

Film Cars  were delighted to purchase a late 1980s estate for use in the forthcoming film The Bearer.

June - 0ctober 2009

Film Cars limited,  sourced and purchased a maroon and cream VW Bay window camper van for the second series of Rory and Paddys Great British Adventure for  Channel 5 to be aired as Rory and Paddy's Even Greater British Adventure.

August - September 2009

Film Cars Limited were delighted to work on the BBC production Wheels of Fortune 2 where we provided 8 customers classic cars from a baby Fiat 500 to a Escort Mexico. Watch out for the show in February 2010 where our clients cars get put to the test at Forrestburn Hill Climb track.

July 2009 - A Royal adventure

Film Cars Limited provided a 1990s Range Rover and police car for a flashback sequence in a documentary about The Queen. 

June 2009 - COPS and ROBBERS

Film Cars Limited have just provided a classic 1970s Hillman Imp Police Car, one of only two original police imps left in the UK, for a new BBC Alba television show. Filming took place once again at the BBC studios where the actors enjoyed racing the police car around the set.

MORE CRIME

Film Cars Limited have just provided classic cars / vans for a new episode of ITV Real Crimes. Watch this space for more pictures after broadcast.

EAST COAST VENTURE

Film Cars Limited were delighted to supply the BBC with vehicles for a new series presented by Jonathan Meades. More details after broadcast.

May 2009

The first six months of the year has been super busy at Film Cars Limited. We are currently working on a variety of major network televison projects using many of our classic and modern vehicles. Watch this space for photos and dates of when our cars will be on the screen.

Film Cars Limited will be sponsoring a Hillman Imp historic racing car in 2010 so look out for details and pictures coming soon.

February 2009

We have just finished working on a BBC4 documentary using a Riley RME. Filming took place at the BBC River City Studios in Scotland.

January 2009

Happy New year to all our customers and clients.  We have started 2009 with some exciting projects in the pipeline. Watch this space for some photographs soon and we look forward to working with you in the near future.

December 2008

December has been a busy month so far. Exciting projects included a Gaelic Short Film Laoch (which won a FILMG award) and another Road Safety DVD.  Our diary for 2009 is already filling up so watch this space for more pictures of life at Film Cars Limited.

November 2008

October and November 2008 have been busy with Film Cars Ltd working on a drama being shot on location in Scotland. We also provided two vehicles for a Road Safety campaign aimed at younger teenagers.  Whether it is sporty, classic, modern or a banger, if it has wheels and you need it Film Cars should be able to help.  Ring with your requirements.

September 2008 -Africa

Our director  is off to Ethiopia to work on a short film in early Septemeber. Watch this space for hopefully some interesting photos of the vehicles we use.

August 2008 - 1930s Film

We are looking for a number of cars and vans from the late 1930s in used or poor condition. We particuarly need a flat bed truck from this era.  No vehicles will be destroyed but the truck will be painted and part restored to fit with the film script. If you have any vehciles suitable for hire or that you would be willing to sell with a possible return price pre-agreed then please get in touch.  Filming is 2009.

August 2008 - Clear out -Cars for sale

Due to an increased workload we are now outgrowing our new garage. As a result some cars are for sale, Herbie, our 1973 VW Beetle, a mazda MX5 and one of our fiestas, the police car.  If you are interested in owning any of these cars please get in touch. **update** SOLD TO ENTHUSIASTS. We are currently filming a short foreign language film using many of our registered vehciles.  Watch this space for exciting pictures soon.

Films Cars gets healthy

We recently supplied a vintage ambulance for a launch by Nicola Sturgeon, Minister for Health, celebrating 60 years of the NHS.  The vehicle delighted not only our client but the passing public in Glasgows' George Square.

Ambulance wanted

We are looking for a vintage ambulance (1940s-1960s) for a new project. If you have one please get in touch and perhaps we can get your vehicle some work. We will also purchase one so let us know if you have one for sale.

March 2008

New Garage

We have moved to a new purpose-built garage. Our new property has in-house facilities for storage, a workshop and spray booth.  We also have new transport and an office. 

December 2007

Too many cars!

Film Cars has expanded so fast we have outgrown our Glasgow premises. We are currently looking for a barn to rent or buy in the Glasgow / Ayrshire area for the storage of up to 20 vehicles.  Please contact us if you can help!

Herbie has just joined Film Cars. Primarily Herbie will be used to advertise the company as our new "company car." Our representatives will arrive on set in Herbie, which always attracts attention.   Herbie will be available for hire also and has just passed his MOT!  Available for all types of work subject to availability.
